Yes the GM upgrade is "essentially" 2 3-bar map sensors and an ECU reflash (but they call it the "GM Turbo Upgrade" lol, go figure). Doing that 1st will allow you to get the most from any other mods you do down the line like a downpipe, exhaust, bigger intercooler +piping, etc.
