Need advice on next Upgrades

Hey guys,
I've been slowly doing a build on my 08 SS.

I'm keeping thing simple and mild as far as exterior aesthetics and added HP/ Performance.

I would like to add a bit HP and make the exhaust and turbo sound nice.

So what should I do for a few mild HP add ons?

I was thinking this.

Cat Back Exhaust
Downpipe
BOV
Cold Air intake
Tune with added Boost

I can't seem to find many options on the intake or BOV though.
Any brand preferences on which of the items listed works best and can be had at a nice price?

Changing the cia is a good way to throw codes, seems the K&N kit works well with out a code, but looks the same as the stock setup. To switch to a bov, you will have to relocate the maf to the cold side pipe, a lot of work. Forge does make a atmospheric release bpv that just replaces the stock unit. I have a brand new one in the box, if you want to try one. Because it releases metered air, it will throw an occasional code too.

Will the re-tune take care of the codes?

I'd also like to make it look nicer than stock. Not a fan of that bulky box over the engine with plastic pipes coming out of it.

Yea, I agree, but it works well. We haven't been able to get Vince to tune for any mods. Planing on getting the tuning suite to do them ourselves. There are lots of guy's using it now, you will have to wait for one of them to tell us.

I'm doing similar mods to mine.

Currently have the GMTU Stage 1 upgrade (came on the car)
Forge Motorsports BPV

Future mods

Hi flow catted down pipe only - factory cat back flows pretty good
Hot side and cold side piping - reliability mods
Intercooler - reliability mod
Tune with HPTuners - debating on buying the kit and doing it myself.

Might fab up my own intake and try and route it into the fender well if there is enough room.

Hmm, thinking about exhaust side.

Is there any big benefits from doing a full 3" exhaust. Meaning downpipe and all the way back?

I have worked on Turbo cars before and have always seen big gains by doing full exhausts and intakes.
I may try and fab up my own intake as well. If it can be re-tuned to adjust for any codes on the MAF then that would be awesome.
