New HHR SS Owner!
Nice SS!! I Actually test drove this one when I was looking for mine. Don't worry I didn't hammer it! haha Before I pulled the trigger on buying one I needed to drive one just to make sure this was right car/truck for me.
Who was your salesman? I was talking to Nick. I liked the color, it was my second choice after black. I was considering that one if I could find the black 5spd. Glad it went to a fellow enthusiast!
Enjoy!

Small world huh? I spent a day trying to find an SS within a hundred miles of me that had a 5 speed in it. This little gem showed up in Long Beach.
I worked with Wes, they seem like a good bunch of people at Champion Chevy.
That's okay, I hammered it for you on the test drive. Since I knew I was going to buy it!

Hi Everyone - Not from So Cal but from California Maryland -next town up is Hollywood Maryland
Picked up our Victory Red SS 5 speed on Saturday and enjoyed the drive home. Only option was the sunroof. Chevy.com was very helpful with its build and find feature. Lots of automatics around but I wanted a 5 speed so needed to go 120 miles or so.
In 1985 bought a new 86 4- cylinder 5-speed Ford T-Bird TurboCoupe and it was a great car and fun to drive. Just retired it a couple of years ago after 240000 miles. Haven't had a Chevy since 72 when I had a new Chevelle SS (also had a new 65 and 69 SS Chevelles) So by now you probably have figured I'm an old guy. Hoping for good luck and lots of fun with the HHR SS.
Thanks

Very nice addition. Traded in my Daytona Charger for an SS, luv it! Be sure to add yourself to the SoCal map.
You'll see there are a couple of us in Simi.
