New Performane Display Pics

I hope this is not a repost. I figured this was worthy of it own new thread. Just saw this on Autoblog posted ealier today:

http://www.autoblog.com/2008/08/26/g...vailable-2009/

I wonder if we can retrofit that to a 2008? It says it is a $295.00 dealer installed option.

agreed, I wouldn't mind the screen, but it looks like a square was lodged into the pillar.

That is a pic from the Cobalt. on the HHR its mounted on the dash where the 2nd glove box is. I have a pic of it in the new brochure it looks better there then it does in the cobalt.

Its 295 from the factory, but thats because it replaces the boost gauge so imagine it costing 295 MORE than what they put into the cost of the stock boost gauge. You're probably looking closer to $400-500 from a parts department.

I thought the hhr RPD goes in the aux glovebox, thats why the aux glovebox gets deleted when ordering RPD...Those pics might be prototype more than final product, design, and location.
