Yeah I can't say if there's a huge difference in 3psi but I though the peak efficiency was 25

I don't want to rain on the parade here...but the stress on the auto tranny isnt a good thing...All I can say is have some money set aside to fix it...My planetary gear bearings didnt like trifecta anywhere near as much as I did

Lol yeah since getting the GMTU I've had the lower charge pipe and now high pressure fuel pump replaced under extended warranty plus tires and brakes. Pay to play!

Badass to be clear the gmtu tune did that to your tranny right? Not the trifecta tune? If so then yes I could see that and that's one of the reasons i never wanted the gmtu I feel it's not as safe and boost spikes to high and it's so expensive

Also one of the reasons I want trifecta is it's selectable, so I can daily drive on the stock tune and only bump the power at the track.

Plus didn't you recommend trifecta to me lol

[/QUOTE] To improve the exhaust system, simply "coring" the 2nd "cat", is all the needs to be done.

I've heard this a lot what does this process entail? How long does it take what tools are needed? What are the results do you have a sound clip?

Also thank you for your post, very informative!

I love trifecta, thats what was installed when it went...but I take the blame on the tranny giving up, I had too much fun with the car...I have only had superchips and trifecta

Do you go to Cedar Falls raceway in Cedar falls IA or Cordova Dragway in IL at all? we seem to be pretty close and yet pretty far away from each other, Mid America is doable for me but id have to arrange sitters for my younger kids and have funds to go that far :) that can be a bit tricky!

Ill definitely make a post comparing the completely stock Auto VS stock parts on trifecta tune as soon as i can. The nice thing with the trifecta is i can select it on and off via cruise control so i can do some runs stock and then do runs on trifecta for comparisons for others in my situation who want some numbers! Also if i can save for some dyno time ill do a stock VS trifecta dyno reslut as well :)
No worries, MAM has Street drags almost every Friday night in summer. This track is only 1/8 mile but always plenty of track time. I will look into those other tracks you mentioned.

Time slips? We have a couple threads for that. Here is one:

My best time is 9.2 @ 83mph on crappy stock tires, limited traction. I have better rubber now and had Vince increase boost in first gear so I'm expecting better times.

not always...there were some highway miles involved...I was surprised that it gave out as soon as it did...I was thinkin like 90,000 or 100,000 miles

But I was certainly rarely easy on the car...I am a lot more now

Yeah I've looked through the time slip ones, looking forward to adding to it!

I'll definitely have to try to meet up with you at MAM though cause I'm the only SS around here lol
