That last pick is how our ss looks now,dpoll995,thanx for link. Those picks are what I showed the parts people that did not believe that they got the wrong armrest twice. So now they are calling into their parts help line to find out why they got 2 right part numbers but had drivers side seat arm rests.

 

25872601 is that the part number you ordered for your arm rest? thats the number i used.

 

I got the wrong armrest too!!. My dealer double checked and the part number I had was for the passenger side and the armrest that showed up was for the driver's side. New one should be here soon. I hope it is the right one.

 

dpoll995, thanks for the pics! My parts are not in yet, but I am anxious and wanted to get started on the teardown. It looks like the teardown might be tougher than putting it all back together.
It looks like I may want to watch which armrest they send as well.....

 

ya when you pick up the parts look to make sure you get the correct arm rest. mine came in today and it was wrong too. it was the correct part number but they put the wrong arm rest in the box. there is a small label on the arm rest with a barcode on it, the label has a bunch of numbers on it and also has some writing on. the writing on mine was "ARMRST DRV". that looks like arm rest driver to me, but what do i know?? they will order another one for me. they way you can tell if you get the correct arm rest is, the metal plate has a curved notch in it that notch should be on the upper part of the plate when you put it up to the seat.

 

I have a duplicate set of parts for the arm rest on the passenger side (black armrest).

If someone is interested I would sell the whole lot of parts for $170 which includes shipping to the continental USA.

PM if interested. I am making no money on this, I just want to get rid of them and there is a re-stocking fee at the dealership.

I placed my order with my GM dealer about 3 weeks ago and everything but the actaul armrest came in within a week. Still waiting on the back ordered armrest.... Maybe too many of use put in orders for them, or its the Left/right issue so many of you had.
