Here's more on that topic. Been awhile since anyone's posted in that thread.

Maybe a merger?

With the SS I got a Zip lock type bag holds everything. When I got my '06 2LT the manual was in a nice cover with slots for business cards.

My husband got the holes in the bumper of his SS for the dealerships advertising plate and their sticker on the back tailgate also. He also got one free oil change that I will be surprised if he uses. We were at the dealership for over 2 hours getting everything in place with our youngest and not once were we offered anything to drink, not even for the little one.
He didn't get no pouch, no ziplock bag, nothing. Heck when I got my Plymouth Voyager back in 99, I got a real nice soft pouch to put everything in. Some dealerships better wise up!

It's still cheap for what you're getting !! Remember it's an ECONOMY class car (Cobalt) with the SS package.

I dont care about the cheap car thing... its nice for the dealer to step up and break out the 5-6$ for a cover for the hand book. By the way my car needs WARANTEE work already at a wopping 10mi on the clock.
took delivery with the drivers seat power switch not working ( I fixed it switch not snapped together ) the pas side window switch ****ed sideways very intermitent the drivers side does not control it either and the grill for the intercooler cracked WTF! OOOyea I for got its a cheap car... fricken grow up if you can afford a Ferrari but buy a vette your buying a cheap car... all I ask for my very hard earned $$$ is a new vehicle that does not need to back to the dealer for crap that should never hit the showroom floor I hope the dealers are reading!!!! Why do you think American made vehicles get a bad rap?
