Mine came with a little black pouch velcrow thing. I would have to say nylon material?

I would have kindly traded that 5.00 deal for no holes rivited in my front bumper

Where did you get yours (and please don't say Rio Rancho, those guys are idiots)? - Edit: I was thinking Chino when I wrote that, you're in Corona, duh!

Mark Christopher didn't put the bracket on mine.

I told them if they put my front plate on they would either be refunding me $5,000 for a new bumper, paint, and decreased value of the repaired vehicle, or I would be returning the vehicle and they would have to find a buyer for the used SS I would give back to them. They didn't put my plates on lol. Gotta let them know who's boss.

Does GM give these to the dealers or do the dealers have to pony up for each pouch? If it doesn't cost the dealers anything...heck, even if it does, it's a cheap feel-good gesture on their part. No excuse not to give them out if they are part of the package from GM.

It's kinda like how you HAVE to ask for ketchup for your fries at the drive-thru these days. They will never offer it anymore. If you forget to ask, you're SOL.

It's the little things....

I was at the dealer today, so i wanted to bring this topic back up.

Had to drop off the title to my trade in since it just came in the mail and in return get my title to the HHR.

Said hey, could you wash it for me (they told me when i bought it anytime i want, stop in and they'll wash it) So I got that done.

Then i thought back to this post and asked if the cars come with a little pouch anymore for the manual, since mine didn't. He walked over to the tahoe we were standing nearby and open up it's glove compartment, and pulled it's out, and asked "like this?" So I say yeah, i didn't get one. Bam, he hands it over and says he'll order a new one for that car.

So sometimes instead of people getting mad about things like that and wondering why they didn't get one and other people did, and all that, sometimes all you gotta do is ask. I, personally, wouldn't make an extra trip for it, but i was already there. So i left with the title, a washed car and the little pouch.

No he won't, it's called "Rob Peter to Pay Paul" in the car business. Showroom cars/trucks are always canibalized by salesmen.

I got mine from El Camino in Huntington. They had to dealer trade an auto for the 5spd. I believe they found it in Santa Maria (Santa Barb area) The bracket was on the car when they wen't to get it.
