FYI: My dealer in San Antonio said the backup camera will be available on the HHR, Malibu and Traverse through the rear view mirror. The Malibu and Traverse (sp?) are auto trans only vehicles he says, so me thinks no dice on camera with the 5 speed. Makes sense as the remote start is not available with 5 speed and as well, they can't get the reconfig display to work with the 5 speed - thus the late November build.

just got back from the dealer to edit my order. they let us do it this week only and then after monday our orders are locked and set again.

there are some changes already.

new changes:

1) the performance drivers seat is standard
2) UUI radio is a mandatory option
3) available slide out cargo floor
4) available partition mesh
5) inside remote button for rear cargo door
6) $800+ price increase

oh, and there is not rear backup camera available yet...

Man, I hope that performance drivers seat is not standard, nothing like mismatched front seats. Are these items for full panel only? I've got the solid rear quarter panel on order. I've also already have the UUI stereo on order. The partition mesh, is that the cargo net? I also already heard about the price increase. As for the mismatched seats, isn't it bad enough that we can't get any arm-rests with the 5-speed? I canceled the RPD, but the dealer never told me up-front about anything else. But then he doesn't tell me anything. I'm the one who has been telling him about all these hold-ups and such. Thanks for the heads up.

yeah, the performance seat is now standard on the SS.

there is a new AX8: partition mesh ($515). this is different than the AV9: commerial cargo net ($295). also the D7R: cargo slide-out floor ($680).

i don't know what this partition mesh looks like, but it is right behind the front seats. maybe only available on the panels???

as far as the price increase goes, we are locked into the old price as of when the order was initially placed.

I am thinking that both seats are now the performance seat and not just the drivers. I don't think they would make just the drivers seat standard

from what i see, it's just the drivers seat while the passenger seat is a flat-folding.

Doesn't the fact that anyone who modifies their original order, like myself, lose that lock-in on the old price? Or, was this a special circumstance, since there are so many people getting tired of waiting for Chevy to fix the problems with the RPD? Maybe the performance seat will only be standard for new orders.
