Ordered 2009 Panel SS

I found you folks by trying to find out why the delay - you have been very helpful. My TPW date has changed as well to 10/13/2008. My order also includes the MM5 and UAF. The other options are CF5, J56, UQ3, UUl (assuming the UQ3 and UUl combo translates to 6 disk with the Pioneer 280 watt 7 speaker system) I ordered the spotter mirror but do not see 9B7 on the order. The dealer said it comes with the Panel SS - but I am suspect they did not type it in. As well I asked them about the Reverse Backup Camera and they stated there was no such option. Did any of you actually see the camera option? I found the camera option on GM Media Online below.

I gave the link to the dealer but they said that it was incorrect.

The following link said that heated seats came with the Performance Seats (This is not an official Chevy site)

http://autos.yahoo.com/chevrolet_hhr_ss-options/

Seats Price
• Ultralux GM Performance Extended Length Seats $95
• Front Dual Heated Bucket Seats PKG**

For me, the UAF is worth waiting for. This site below shows it mounted to the pillar where the boost guage went. I have not seen an example of one in the dash but scuttle butt says it will replace the glove box on the top of the dash - who knows. This is a good link showing all of its functions.

I apologize for the verbose but just wanted to share what I know and get your input. Thanks and regards

The '09 HHR brochure shows a picture of the UAF - and it seems to replace the front top glovebox.

I'm guessing that the picture in the link is showing an example from a Cobalt SS?
I thought they had theirs mounted on the pillar.

Re: HHR Orders with Manual Transmission (MM5) and

Reconfigurable Program Display (UAF)

Date: September 30, 2008

A supplier issue has forced a production delay of your HHR, 1SS order(s) with manual transmission (MM5) and reconfigurable program display (UAF). We have been advised that production of these vehicles will not begin until late November. Because of this delay we will return your order(s) to the place tab for editing (beginning 10/1 through close of business 10/6). All effected order(s) will then be returned to the Production Order Management System, 10/7/2008, for scheduling.

To expedite processing of your order you may remove the reconfigurable program display (UAF) or change the manual transmission (MM5) to automatic transmissions (MX0). If you choose to make no change to your order, we will schedule production for the first available build date.

Change My Order I don't think so I have waited this long what's another month
I just hope GM can stay in business long enough to finish for that matter hope I do

I canceled my RPD and got the sunroof instead I cant wait until December or later to get my car. I will just try to install it myself later on in the year. Plus once I started thinking about it I kinda want the analog boost gauge also which gets deleted when you get the RPD

Unhappy

Checked with Brian Brown not sure how long "could go on for some time." He said it's a calibration issue. Why did they offer it before the bugs are gone? They are professional grade. I might see if I can add the backup camera.

i will wait it out and edit my order at the same time. after seeing the ebony/gray interior, i don't like it. the gray is too light. i will change it to the ebony and red, add the performance drivers seat and USB radio.

this all is working out for the better to me.
