Peformance Display stupid question
#12
The RPD has a harness that can be unplugged from the vehicle harness and RPD. I removed the housing the RPD is in to replace it with the storage compartment on earlier models. My RPD is now mounted on a sliding rail so it and the Dashdaq move up and down, and once I finish the linear actuator install it will be remotely controlled.

To add the stock boost gauge to a car equipped with the RPD
1. Obtain stock gauge
2. plug it into the wiring harness that is under the A pillar cover
The issues are whether your car has the wiring harness and finding or fabbing an A pillar cover for the gauge. For 2009 both the RPD and the pillar gauge were offered, but if I remember correctly, 2010 was just the RPD so the wiring harness may not be there. When I was looking into this, GM wouldn't sell just the A pillar cover for the gauge and I didn't want to pay 360$ for it. I ended up modifying a spare cover (after totally effing up my original one)

Yes, I've read that. I guess I meant to say a seperate and more informative manual. With all the functions it can monitor, I would think it might do even more. I was expecting a little more than "push this button, change this color". Just my 2cents.
