Question for Colgan Bra Owners

I just got a Colgan SS bra as a gift, but haven't had a chance to fit it yet (away visiting relatives). However, the bra I got has the opening for a front license plate, and in AZ we have no front plates (my car doesn't even have a mounting bracket for one).

So, can anyone with a front plate tell me how big the opening in the cover is for the plate? It doesn't look like it's very big from the website pictures, but I would hate to have a rock fly in there. Would it be worth it to send it back for one without the opening?

One thing you could do is get the plate holder and get a plate with something you like on it.

If that won't work for you just send it to me and I'll use it appropriately.

I think sending crap back is more of a hassle at times.

Go to a local leaher shop and have them make a filler piece that can be velcroed in...

Send it back, I recieved mine for Christmas, put it on and its by far the best looking and fitting 2 piece unit I've ever owned and from the way mine looks without the plate cut out (and I live in a state that requires them) its a great look, you'll be pissed if you don't.
And yes I'll pay the fine before I drill my bumper.

I don't think you'd have a problem exchanging it provided it wasn't used.

The hole as far as I remember isn't very big. The way the instructions describe installing it with the plate is like slipping a button through a button hole. I put mine on the day before I left for my road trip and it's been rained on, snowed on and iced on pretty much nonstop since. Just hoping my paint is still intact when I get back and take it off...
