Great tip on cutting thru 2-sided tape. Will have to keep that one in mind.

Thanks again for the replies.

The 2 bolt holes, I was prepared to plug, but if there are 3 more holes, I guess I will just abandon the idea of removing the spoiler and learn to love it.

I haven't posted any pics of my SS because it is Victory Red with Ebony/Red interior, so you have seen what it looks like a hundred times over.

Anyone planning on purchasing a used premier edition or SS edition spoiler, keep in mind you will need to order a new tape mounting kit. ( about $25.00)

To me that is the best looking spoiler for our cars yet. Splash guards and one are my two purchases to make.

I feel just the opposite, that spoiler makes the back of the HHR look to square. The rest of the body has all rounded surfaces, the loop type of spoiler would look a lot better on there. Also I think the SS would look better without the roof racks, roof racks are for family type cars!!

Not really "NEED", a roll of 3M is pretty cheap, or if you having someone paint and install, they probably already have a roll.
