Are any of these functions included in the 08 models?

 

The items below are currently displayed in the DIC and on the instrument panel of the 08' SS and the boost is displayed on the boost gauge on the A pillar.

Coolant Temperature
Tire Pressures
Traction Control Active Indication
Vehicle Stability Control Active Indication

Looks like not being able to get an 08 worked out for the best for me. Hopefully I will be able get an 09 sometime early next year. For now I will have to keep living vicariously through you guys.

 

For $295 that's a no-brainer.

Not sure I should consider it though, because I know how I am. I would be spending too much time and $$ on Auto Cross tracks trying to achive the best lateral G value of anyone on ChevyHHr.net's SS Forum...

Anyone know if the performance display will be available in Canada? According to a poster on cobaltss.net, this option will not be offered on Canadian Cobalts.

 

how hard would that to be to install in another location other than the piller?

 

Ryan, my dealer (Canadian) couldn't find this option when we were building my SS although everyone in the US seems to be ordering it. Your information may be correct which would be a major disappointment.

 

I am not sure if there is a perfect spot other than were it is now.If you want to have it custom installed somewhere else,that cost will have to be discussed with your installer.

It took 15 min to install in the factory hole.
