I just thought of something about this performance display that concerns me a bit.

Since it will display all of the info that is currently in the DIC, does that mean I will be DIC-less if I get an 09?

According to Motor Trend it will be in the A Pillar:

"a reconfigurable performance display has been placed in the A-pillar and records zero to sixty and lateral acceleration numbers."

Hmmm - knew it was located there for the Cobalt but had heard that the HHR was positioned top, centre on the dash. Seen pictures of it on the pillar and think it looks out of place there, a square box protruding out from the pillar (ugh).

Completely agree....it looks horrible on the pillar. Very interested in seeing how it looks in the HHR. I like the concept of the display itself, but if it looks ridiculous I might pass on it. I also don't want to order it until we see if it functions as intended. Thanks in advance to all the guinea pigs who will be ordering and using the first ones

If you don't opt for the performance Display, will they still offer the Boost Gauge in the pillar as "standard"?
