Nice ride, like the way you have the wheels matching the paint

Looks good. I too had to search for an SS 5 spd. Went to Delaware from Baltimore to buy mine, a 2009 Black SS w/13,652 miles, paid $17995, which I thought was pretty good.

Congrats on the silver. I wouldn't want mine in any other colour!

Took it a for 'break-in' blast around Willow Springs last week. So much fun. 1:58 was my best time. I was timid and sliding a bit. There were a few cars on the track with me that cost 15X what I have in the SS so... I definitely will be going for the TTR rear sway bar and front motor mount soon. I was sliding all over the seat, so I got on of those CG Locks. Cool little device, but I dunno if it's worth the MSRP. Scored it for $30/closeout at PepBoys, not that I'll go back to the track anytime soon, but it's nice to be snug. ;-) I'll have to wait for the GMS1. I might do some rotor paint, black and grey, black out the BowTies and some little stuff soon. I got the SS fever now for sure.

Can't wait to see it at a get together soon! Todd (Uma)

The plate frames really make it haul, but the stem caps boost it a little, too. I see that the SMS1 can be had for $499.99 here...http://www.gmpartshouse.com/19212670...pgrade-kit.php. Any ideas how much a dealer will charge for an install? Hmmm...maybe some Brembos, too? ;-)
