Source for exterior parts
My wife ripped off the driver's side mirror backing out of the garage today The whole thing shattered...mirror, plastic and all.

Wondering where to get one to avoid bodyshop/dealership mark up. I know I'll have to get it painted.

Take at look at e-bay, painted mirrors do show up there from time to time.

You might also try Schram auto parts online website. Based in MI, but they ship.
Also, don't let the wifey back it out. that works too.

My 1999 silverado I got a used mirror off a truck in a salvage yard for $20.
