SS Front Struts/Springs???

I know this has been hashed out on here before:

How much of a difference are the front Struts/Springs over the ones on my 08 2LT truck??Is it worth getting both struts and Springs together??Or just the Springs??What I'm hearing just the Springs make the difference on leveling the truck out.

You would need to get rear springs to level it somewhat. Front springs would make the situation worse. If you're doing it just to lower, it's not worth it. There is less than an inch difference in ride height. Closer to a 1/2'' from what I have measured.

I would recommend getting the correct struts and shocks to match the springs if you go that route. The FE5 springs have a higher spring rate and the struts and shocks have a damping rate to match.

Have SS Springs and Shocks

I have rear SS orginal Springs and shocks.Should I get SS front Springs and Struts to match the rear??Or can I get just the Springs to make it set a tad lower??Will I need the struts to match the front SS Springs??

Simple: You want to drop it just for looks, use just the springs. You want to drop it and have the performance , to boot, use both springs and struts. You want the good setup, use SS struts and pedders springs. "Moon"

Id chg both as the SS springs might be a tad too much for the original shocks and would probably have a hard time keeping up...
