SS Ride Height?

I got my new 20's on my SS and now I'm hating the void of space in the fenderwells.

Is the SS lower than your standard LS or LT?

I just might have to order some Goldline Springs now. Has anyone else put them on an SS?

I know, I know, pics to follow soon..

I don't think there is much rige height differance. It may just be a little lower.

Be aware if you lower an SS the front air dam is farther out an lower so you will scape and hit the nose in more driveways and parking entrences.

The SS nose is less forgiving in the real world than the standard nose.

The ss is about 3/4'' lower at most. If you put lowering springs on it, it should end up the same height as a regular hhr though.

Did you put 30's or 35's on the 20's? I believe a 225 x 35 x 20 is very close to the stock 225 x 45 x 18"! The gap could have increased if you installed 225 x 30 x 20 and it lowered the car some! Installing the Gold Lines will eliminate the wheel well gap but lower it so that driving could become an issue !

I think they offer coil-overs too.

Goldlines will make a LS with 16;s set about 1 in lower then a SS.
