Stock tires SUCK!!

So i just got my first snowfall, about 6 inches. If it wouldnt be for the traction control i would be stuck in one place. I thought these tires would be a little better in the snow but then again their all season performance tires so i dodnt expect much in the snow. Blizzaks here i come....

18" performace tires, are never going to be good in the snow . . . Plus I figured the little air damn would make a great snow plow . . .

I spun out in my 1993 Beretta GTZ when it was new, so I knew the HHR SS, would not do well in snow . . .

The scariest car to drive in snow is my STS V with Pirelli Euphoria tires . . . when they say not recommended for use in snow they MEAN it!

So I have my P/U for snow duty!

I love my little SS with Blizzaks! To me it's great insurance and peace of mind that I have traction for winter driving. I used to think all season tire meant all seasons. If you have the money for winter tires I recommend the upgrade for cold weather driving. Otherwise be cautious with those pilots. This morning no problem driving thru 6" fresh snow, no wheelspin from a stop.

You know, like when those hurricanes blow through. It's the wet stuff, only colder. And for you snow ha ha smart alecs in SoCal, it's the stuff you wish you had when you're getting burned to the ground.

So there. Humpf.
