What is this S_N_O_W stuff everyone keeps talking about? lol Funny thing is, I took my wife home to Dallas a few years ago and it was lightly snowing there, she said " this is the first time I have seen snow falling besides on TV or the movies!" lol She said the only snow she had seen was about an hour or more from here up in the mountains, and it was never actually snowing when they went, it was just on the ground.

Then you need a trip over Donner Pass in the winter for some real snow! You won't be able to see anything but snow banks!

I agree with the Blizzaks as a cure for sure! I put on some new WS-60s and they are great! We have about a foot on the ground now, and the roads have been pretty snow covered in the last week. No problems with these tires!

You obviously have to be a little light on the throttle though in 1-2 gears with the manual trans!

Had my first experience with snow in my HHR. I've lived in the rust belt all my life. I've been driving for 30 years & never had snow tires. Well, I had a hard time getting out of the parking lot, much less driving on the road. I ordered a set of Blizzacs this afternoon.

LOL....too much snow to drive in looks best from my livin' room bay window.
Tires, chains and all that crap ain't gonna stop that fool from comin' at you sidewise on his four bald tires. LOL....drive in the snow, sleet, or ice.....ain't gonna happen.

I wish I could afford to put it away for the winter. But I can't afford another reliable car, nor the cost of ownership, like insurance etc.

I dunno what you guys are talking about. I drove all last winter on stock tires, and we had a tough winter last year here in New England. I never had a problem.

The traction control is fun and works like a champ.
When it's wet and snow, go slow.

I hear you JeffB. I know I would have a hard time making it up my driveway with 2" of snow on there with the stock Michelins. I crawled up thru over 5" the other day without too much problem with the new Blizzaks!

I made a run up to Appleton today and the snow drifting on the roads was causing crashes everywhere. I saw over 12 cars in the ditch in those 90miles! You can't say enough about how good winter tires keep you safe if you ask me...
