i surprised a Neon SRT4 the day after i got mine (almost 2 weeks ago now). sitting at a red light, just kinda lookin around waiting for the light to change, and he comes in next to me, starts looking over me and the car, and starts revving a little. i think to myself "oh boy, i know where he's going with this". light goes green, and he kinda jumps out quick, trying to show off, so i say to myself "okay, i can play that game too" so i punch it, and have about 3 car lengths on him before he realized i was in front of him. so he decides to try to catch up, and i hear his rpms go crazy as he scrambles to catch up, and never did. he pulls in behind me (end of road comes to a t-intersection, must turn right or left from where we are) and we both make the right. i stay in the slow lane after the turn, he comes flying up on my left, honks, and i see a big thumbs-up as i look in his passenger side window. he came up on me at a red light again just a couple days ago, and he started revving at me, realized it was me again, quit revving, and drove off slowly haha. all in all, i was proud lol.

In the hands of skilled drivers. I've heard that they are a handfull of torque steer though, and thats a 0-60 time killer if you gotta let off.

well, he started off just kinda jumping off the line to show off, and wasn't expecting me to be as fast as i was, so he didn't realize i was ahead of him, and by the time he got on it, he had lost too much ground to make back up. either that, or he fails at driving lol. cuz i do know how to drive stick, i'm just not all that experienced in it so i'm not that great at it, thus why i bought the stick, aside from the performance factor and fun factor, i want to get better at stick.

how much do they weigh? i know we make torque for quite a while, and pretty early, and both peak numbers are higher than them...what makes em faster?

ur kidding right? some 4 bangers these days do develop some serious HP. Enough to take Vettes, I've seen it. Takes NOS and boost. But it can be done.
