I ended up buying a SRT4 to build and after changing everything on it, I could bust thats ass and run low 7.45's at the track and take the kids to school on monday. This HHR we just bought has great to potential to keep up if you want to do a completely differnt turbo but IMO its Apples/toOranges compairison.
no offense, but the balt ss wasn't nearly as fast as a stock sti. correct me if i'm wrong, but a stock balt sc was around 215 at the flywheel and staged bolt on 230's?? i ran a staged 2 sc with bolt on's when i had just a tune and had him by car to a car and a half. i will say this, you have a kick ass wife to have a built sti and you having a quick skittle(j/k lol). props to ya for your stable, especially with the ss.
