Tax return mods!

OK so by the end of February I should have my taxes...I got about $650 or so budget for some mods that I have been waiting on...

First I want a Trifecta budget tune. My question is, How hard is this to do with a laptop? From what I have read, you purchase the tune($200) and they send you a cable...hook up to my laptop and download some stuff and voila! tuned.

and secondly I am going threw ZZP for a downpipe. as long as I get the high flow cat that's $199. is this the correct DP for a basic high flow replacement with no other modifications?

thanks in advance for the help!

I owed em the last three years. I'm sure I'll be writing a check again! Just some more of that "change" we were promised.

I'm getting a return this year as I have all of my working life. The returns are a little smaller since I retired but I still get them.

I'm single and am getting $2001 between state and federal. I also give state $15 a week extra. State is always close to even so I bumped it up every week

The only problem I ran into was because my laptop is windows XP. For some reason it just wouldn't connect to the vehicle after I had downloaded the software needed. I used my gf laptop which is Vista. Windows 7 will work too. Jerry at BNR told me they were thinking bout excluding support on XP because they have had several problems as I described(but they have new versions of the trifecta EZ falsh software so the problem may be fixed, im not sure). So if you got vista or 7, and you follow all the directions they give you, shouldn't be any problems. JUST MAKE SURE YOU LAPTOP IS PLUGGED IN AND CHARGING! The worst thing that could happen is your laptop shuts down during the flash.

Might want to kill the sleep function while you are tuning, windows XP, isn't that an antique ? I just got a volunteer downpipe and did the second cat gut like 2005hhr suggested, it works great. Evad has one for sale.
