If someone put in a tune allowing that much boost, I would be very afraid. I'm sure you're still using stock internals such as rods, pistons, etc ? With that much boost and power produced, you're on the verge of a major engine failure.
I think it's the piston ring landings that are the known failure point of over boost.

Thats exactly what Im thinking too damn much for stock internals . dont worry -I havent got on it much at all after I saw the boost guage pegged at 30 .

Think this may be a waste gate issue --your opinion ? Also should I change the MAP sensors with the tune -- also How much boost would you recommend with stock internals ( maybe 20-22?)or less

The knock sensor could be simply loose, and dirt has worked its way in between it and the block.

A bad waste gate throws overboost codes. No codes means the tune dude changed the tables.

Ask your tuner about TMAP sensors, some tunes need certain sensors.

Thank you DONBREW -Will definitely ask him about TMAP sensors --OK didnt have any idea a bad waste gate would throw a code .

I think youre right about the guy who did a tune on it -He definitely changed something -- Also I have a strong smell of gas when at idle & it idles rough when its cold but smooths out when warmed up -- Im getting a little anxious about the tuning guy at National speed in Richmond -- They supposed to be reputable & know what they are doing ..What they charge , I would hope so . We will see --Will inform everyone once this is done friday on the results

Just wanted to let everyone know like I said I would of the dyno results after I was at last able to get it tuned by National speed in Richmond Va.

HP 312
Torque 320
22 psi
Of course at the fly wheel
Just bolt ons --Catless down pipe , zzp intake & tune
Anything bbeyond this I WOULD HAVE TO go with forged internals - All internals are stock
Curious to see if I can get into the 13,s at the 1/4 mile track --
Anyone got into the 13,s with stock internals ?
