well sounds like you have a lot of options here? keep in mind you need to pass smog to!
With my option the qtp exhaust cut out, when it is closed, it is 100% stock.

Sounds like a catless down pipe may be the answer, especially since I'm going to be putting a tune on it soon. Almost got all my ducks in a row (those things are difficult to wrangle)

NC=No smog sniffers=WIN!

If it'll pass being hooked up to the OBD2 scanner I'm good, so as long as I can keep the check engine light off I've no worries inspection wise.

But wait, they're supposed to check under the car for a cat... Suppose I could core the cat like mentioned earlier. Wouldn't be the first time.

I have stainless steel exhaust manifold with catless 3 inch stainless all the way back, no muffler. Sounds beautiful outside much better than a standard exhaust. Some droning inside the ****pit but a resonator will mellow it out.

You wouldn't have to go stainless but 3 inch is the way to go, no muffler.

What are your recommendations. Trying not to spend $800 on a turbo back exhaust when I could be satisfied with the sound of a $100 muffler.
