Will this help with the Autos?

My only complaint is the cheap plastic dash.

The TTR motor mount will help make the auto feel more connected to the road. The GF noticed right away how the car just felt better when hitting the gas.

Especially, if you have added more power over stock. Probably, my 3rd favorite mod I did on my SS. First was Stg 1, second, TTR rear sway bar, and then the mount. Well, the TTR mount and the ZZP downpipe were tied. Plus, you can get it pc to match.

The cheap dash. Looks like it came from the factory with a dash cover.

The other...GM stage 1 kit. Bought it used and it ran great for about a month. Then the endless surging, boost while cruising, cel's, no or low boost. So far I've redone the upper wires, and it still ****s up. Will redo the bottom wire's next week. A plug and play would've been so much easier and better. Compromising the factory harness to change MAP sensors? Really!

I do like the Gas mileage as I average 26.2 and I cruise at 80 and when the ***** runs properly sees WOT a few times a day. However considering it's size and weight it only gets 3mpg more than the wifes 2011 SHO. And its slower in the 1/4...14.2 @ 101 to a 14.05 @ 102.

I just found out that the trip odo only goes to 999.9 before resetting to zero. Not exactly a good feature if you actually use it!!!

Just ordered TTR Solid Mounts and TTR 1" rear sway bar. That should help.

#2 would be the notchy transmission-this thing is so stiff (even since day one). #3 would be the automatic door locks that cant be turned off.
I HATE HATE HATE THE AUTO DOOR LOCKS!!! Look how many people have had to replace the door handles! It's *edit* stupid! And I don't want to hear " I never open my door while in gear". Really, you have never stopped to let a passenger out?
OK, I feel better.

I kinda of like the door lock feature.

I think it's safer and if you lived in LA where people will jump into your car (yes it's happened to me and others) the auto-lock feature can save your life.

After all it's pretty easy just to reach over to the driver's door and open click the door switch if you want to keep it in drive.

What I don't like about the car is the reliability. I think the electronics are way too sensitive our not that well thought out.

Then again I have a neighbor with a new BMW 535i that has been i the shop 6 times for an oil leak that still isn't resolved, so considering the cost differential, I guess we shouldn't complain.

What I do like about the HHR SS is the way it drives, the utility and the uniqueness.

I think it drives solid, handles well and flat and rides nice.

It's not a dragster but has a lot of power.

Last week had it loaded down with very heavy cinema gear and still easily cruised at 95 mph without even trying.

I also like the fact you don't see yourself coming and going.

Retro or not, if you looked at the HHR without badges you'd know it's has American/Chevrolet DNA.

IMO
