What do you hate about your HHR SS the most?

The fact that from the factory they "detune" the autos in the lower gears, but if you get the Stage 1 kit that is eliminated and it still has a full warranty. How about a "Stage 1/2" that is just a reflash and gets rid of the detuning, thus giving my auto the same HP as the manual? I know, I could just get the Stage 1 kit, but after all the horror stories of having to solder in the new connectors and having the connections fail (why, GM, did you not put a mating connector on it, change ten bucks more to cover the cost, and make it truely plug and play?) I am reluctant to get it done. My SS has had no problems - I don't need to add some.

Gas Prices make me like mine.

It has warmed up this week and I am back to 23-24 MPG around town. None of my past car even came close and were a lot slower.

The thing that bothers me the most about my SS is the local dealership. My goal is to get GM to pull their cars from them. I have Karen at GM customer support, or care, or whatever it is on speed dial. I have and will throw the stealership under the bus whenever I can. As far as the car goes, I understand production vehicles are compromises and have undertaken the process of making it suite my needs and tastes.

I can show you a few dealers I would love to see closed. I still love the one that told me I could not get my HHR SS for less than $25K. I was tempted to take the one I got for much less and show him the paperwork. He told me the other dealer was lying. Well they were telling a much cheaper truth.

I had another with false advertising and lied to me about the price. Then gave me a horrid price. I can only imagine these service departments were not much better.

I have a folder of things this one place fixed only to brake a month or so later and have the papers from the new place fixing it. Should be a nice email to GM once I get it all delt with.

What's Karen's contact. lol
