Ambient lighting. It's been used in German cars for years. My 2000 Audi had it as well.

I don't like the fact that there hasn't been a break in the nasty winter weather to get the SS cleaned up. :)

I was quite happy to see you merely had to press on it.

We had a '95 Grand AM with the remote fuel door release, and that thing was
ALWAYS freezing up in the winter, requiring either two people to get it open

(one to pull the lever and one to pry the door) or just one unhappy person trying to pull the door open with a coin.

The boost gauge on the A pillar.I know I have two eyes but it would be nice to have it with the tach.I'm usually just busy trying to keep in on the road!

The pillar is poor mans heads up. I used the new Aeroforce scan meter mostly on boost and MPH as it is right where I can see it during normal driving.

The factory tach and Speedo are crap. They are hard to read aty a glance and if I drive where it feels good I am 20 MPH too fast.

If I am driving hard I use boost and Tach on the Aeroforce meter.

I have heads up in the GP and it should be an option on all GM cars. It is so nice not to have to take your eyes off the road for anything.

The new HUD's not only have speedo and Compass but CD or Radio selection and GPS.

The GPS in the GP give turn direction right on the windshield.

The Vetter has a large tach and G meter.
