Seats are garbage for competitive driving.

I'm still waiting on mine but my big gripe is no blue tooth. Every car should have it as a standard option.

We love the built in phone in the car. If my wife is jamming out to her tunes she will not miss my call. You do know the car has its own phone number. The sound quality is better than her $100 bluetooth. We are just going to add the SS to our Verizon wireless plan for $10 a month. The phone is idiot proof. I tried it for the first time today and it was instructing me on how to give it the phone number. I have to learn how to program it.

I too hate the console. I have a 01 Dakota and has great places for cups and lots of storage space. The should ditch that storage space in front of the shifter and move the shifter forward. It feels like it is too far back anyway. That way they could move the cup holders forward. They also need to add a second cup holder in the back. We don't have kids but have friends that do and this would be a deal killer if they was to look at the car.

Do you really need the hazard light swith on display in the middle of the dash. I know they try to make it where the most common idiot can find it but give me a break. Move it down by the rear window wiper controls, just anywhere but where it is now.

Fix it so the spare tire will fit on the front of the car. That is some mess that you have to move a rear tire to the fron in case of a flat. This is my wife's car and I am glad there is roadside assistance. We was really looking at a Mini Cooper S and they have run flats on them. I was wondering it that could be done with the SS.

Add a privacy shade over the rear strorage area. Or at least sell as a GM accessory like the rubber floor mat.

My wife love the car more everytime she drives it. She wanted a new GT Mustang to replace her 9 year old GT. But she drive 30 miles each way to work. At $4 a gallon we was looking for better milage but with the fun factor.

I went from a 06 Road and Track Edition Charger to an SS and I'm missing my Navigation and Bluetooth. The only other thing I'm missing is "Oh S&@#" handles!

Lack of a grab handle was one of the first things my wife noticed (during an on ramp acceleration).
Minor stuff- The steering wheel controls are the opposite from my 00 Intrigue and there's no comfortable way to put my arm up on the window frame, esp w/ that big lock pin sticking up.

All in all I have no complaints!

-Mine doesn't have the fold down arm rest in the back so there's only 1 cupholder for the back seat. Sure, I rarely sit in the back but still.

-I hate the design of the plastic, I think it's hideous. I mean c'mon, find a new plastic mold. My husband's Cobalt SS/SC is the same way, which is why I almost didn't get the HHR.

-I don't understand the tiny little storage places they put in the console, they're pretty pointless because they're too small. It's like they just decided they wanted to do something with the console but didn't know what.

-I now have 1300 miles and 5th is still a pain to get into gear.

- I need to get that clear bra to put on the back bumper and side panels so they don't get scratched. I'm only 5'3" and my pants always brush on the sides when I get in and out and sometimes the heel of my shoe gets ahold of it on the way in. Thank goodness I haven't worn heels yet and done that.

- All that aside, I do love my HHR

For a heavy commuter the fuel tank is too small. It's more of a gripe than a real issue. Actually wouldnt be an issue if I didint drive so much.
The first car in a long time I am having fun driving...I love it

One more thing...

There's no gear shift indicator on the dash (automatic) and the one on the console is difficult to see.
