Question

I'm assuming that my car doesn't have it, due to the production date, but I had no issuses with the brakes this morning.
is there any way I can look & find the vacuum pump? is it visable?

You can only see it from under the vehicle it is mounted to the block next to the oil pan on the passenger side of the vehicle. You would here it at start up too.

Andy-
The brake issue materializes over time. Mine started at around the 1700 mile mark. Some started sooner, others later.

By GMs guidelines yours wouldn't have it.

I didn't crawl under my car to see it but yes, you can very definitely hear it running at start up. I wanted to do some testing so this morning, after my car sat for almost 24 hrs, I started it up and timed how long the pump would run before driving off. Answer was just over 1 minute before it shut down. My normal routine so far has been to just start up, fasten my seat belt and then immediately back out the drive and motor down the hill. Works like a charm...in my 10 days of ownership, I've yet to experience any kind of funky brake action.
