Old Chevy Man, did you get screwed. My lease on my Crossfire was $100 less a month with no down payment and some negative equity from my Infiniti. Also, my oil service ran around $100 (one of the reasons we got the HHR)

Vandy, lease prices will vary by car, person, mileage, etc. I've owned and leased and both have worked for me. Never Lease a car with the intention to Buy afterwards.

HHR SS's will be 450-575/mth to lease depending on your applicable discounts, options, etc...

Wow that seems really expensive for a lease. I have always been told that a lease is a bad deal unless it is for a business vehicle where you can write it off. Also, the residual is not always fixed, and can be negotiated. Look up the wholesale kbb and offer that at the end of the lease to buy it if you want to keep a car. Mileage penalties are also something to be wary of if you drive a lot. Interest rates are low, buy it.

Guess they thought it would stand out better in white. Said it before and still applies:

Today's my day

I picked mine up today, and love it so far. It's my first new car, ever. So, I'm enamored with things like cruise control, power windows, etc.

I've added a post to the "birthday" thread to get the birth date.

Here are a couple of interior pics:
