234? Actually only 216 panels were ever built. Nice ride, the Canadian version has same smog specs as California version. Nothing really different.

We've always quoted 216 as the number of SS panels made.
The numbers above seem to show 216 + 18 (Canadian) which equals to 234.

Who knows what the correct answer is...

Would be 216, of which 18 where shipped to Canada. The build number of 216 is from the factory in Mexico.

True, although I thought there was a the difference in speedo scale. That would be pretty noticeable and maybe a minor nuisance.

There is a different RPO code for California smog, and one for Canada smog I think maybe, but those might be just certification with no actual mechanical or software difference. I wonder if the daytime running lights are any different.

This is Oshawa HHR, a member here. He also has an HHR SS for drag racing purposes that he built himself. Same city as I live in.
