I have a 2006 LT1, I tried to add the radio controls to the steering wheel and they do not work. The switch lights up when the lights are on and my horn and cruise control still works. I ordered the following parts from GMPartsgiant.com:
15234337 COVER
3GNDA23P16S625793 [Chevrolet | HHR | 2006 | 1AS46 | LE5 | MN5]
Replaced by: 25812392 1
15842365 SWITCH
3GNDA23P16S625793 [Chevrolet | HHR | 2006 | 1AS46 | LE5 | MN5]
15234343 HARNESS
3GNDA23P16S625793 [Chevrolet | HHR | 2006 | 1AS46 | LE5 | MN5]
Does anyone have any ideas on a way to test the switch or wireing?

By the way just took my horn off to look in there, and do the same thing to get te horn off to get it on if u don't want to disconnect the battery/pull the fuse as not to draw attention to yourself when putting the horn back on if u live in a nosey col-de-sac as I do... Lol
I ordered the parts for my 2006 and it didn't work. I went to GMpartsgiant.com and entered the vin number for a 2006 that had radio controls and ordered a switch, cover and wireing harness. But the radio controls don't work, is there a way to test the switch to see if it is bad?

Does anyone have a wireing pinout to compare it to. I compared it to the wireing harness I removed (for Cruise/horn) and the pinout is correct. When I put the new harness in my horn and cruise still work but no radio controls.
We took possesion of a 2010 LS with the base radio and would like to add the radio buttons if possible.
We had a 2006 LT with the Pioneer sound system in it and had grown accustomed to have the radio controls on the wheel.
