Cargo Mat & net

So my used 07 didn't come with a net or a cargo mat. I did a search for prices on the mat and net. The mat was about $70-$150 and the net $30-45
I was tired of having my stuff slide across the cargo area & I dident want to pay those prices.
So I was at wally world, and found a trunk orginzor and a roll of auto carpet.
The organizer was 12.86
heres the Amazon link
Hoppy StorageMaster Cargo Organizer for reference
the roll of carpet was $8.88
i forgot the brand but it was called something like auto replacement carpet and the size is 36X72
I cut the carpet to size and used some velcoro dots that I bought a the doller store.
about 30min and about $25 later this is was i got

Interesting, 36x72 sounds big enough to cover with the seats down too. Maybe cut it in half and splice together with velcro then you can use it both ways.
Gonna go check out the local Wallyworld...

Nice! I really like the looks of that organizer! I may just have to get myself one of those. I have the mat, but nothing else, and that could come in handy!

The organizer is pretty cool. I've thought about trying to come up with some sort of organizer the would work with the 4 notches. Something based on two dowels and some mess. Never did get around putting anything together though.

That's great! I am stealing this idea, hope you don't mind. I was just looking into getting something so the crap isn't sliding in the back and scratching the plastic, this will save me a lot of money, thank you for posting.

Wife just got back with the goods. I'm thinking of painting a HHR and maybe a chevy logo on the carpet. Might look neat.
