Pics will be popsted soon, I'm waiting for my final piece to come in and get that modified, and then I will work up a full tutorial with Pics, It will be worth the wait, I promise! Just got done doing the Cluster, Talk about brightness. You should get about double the brightness than from stock. The original LED's in there are actually Yellow, with Light Green Diffusers mounted, making it that god awful teal color. YUCK!

I plan on ripping my whole dash apart soon when I get the I/P harness from GM -- I'm adding Heated seats to my 2007 LS! I willl take pics of the circuit boards and write up a full how-to.

Awesome job on the LEDs. I'd be really nervous to attempt that project without my old Pace equipment, but that turned out great. Two questions:
What kind of iron did you use?
How many LEDs did you have to purchase?
BTW, your car is starting to look like a cop car with the Nav screen and XM on the console mount!

I think the total cost would be like 30.00 for everything. You don't need any resistors, or any thing like that. I haven't made a total count yet, but I will be posting pics soon and total costs and a complete how-to very soon.
I used a Hakko 938 Soldering Station with a small tip, and set to 800 Degrees F. Any hotter than that is no good.
PS>Next I want a computer laptop mount. I have a little Acer Aspire One, That would complete the cop car look.

If you know how to solder, this shouldn't be too hard. on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being th hardest, I would rate this a 7 or 8. You are working with really small LED's!!! You need a steady hand and patience and a set of tweezers.
I will get this How-To up very soon. Probably this weekend.
