Just repaired the key fobs on our 07. Both of them had broken solder points on the battery holder.

 

My fob stopped working, and when I opened it up I saw the tiny solder connections were loose. I snapped the shell back together and resigned myself to using the key. I can solder, but I had no confidence in my ability to solder anything that tiny.

Tonight I happened across this tutorial and realized my fob was identical to the one in the photos. Plus my soldering station looks pretty much like his, too (mine is red). So tonight, just as the sun was going down, I stepped outside and fixed my fob. First time. Thanks!
