IMO, snow tires are a must - especially in Cadillac. I got about 2 weeks into the first winter and bought new 16" aluminum rims and a set of Blizzaks for less than a new set of OEM tires only. You won't need 18" low profile tires in the snow anyway. 16s ride better and handle snow better. They are also way cheaper. Now I can run true summer tires on my 18s and let the salt and potholes do what they will with the cheaper rims and tires.

Yes 16" aluminum, not steel, will fit as long as you don't have the Brembo calipers.
