Greeting from Colorado! New club member.
Greetings fellow HHR owners. What cool cars we have!
I recently paid off my Black 2008 LT1 and started the process of turning my ride into a 49 Chevy. I styled it more after a 49 sedan delivery than a suburban. I started by chroming the bumpers, replacing the grill with a 2 piece, and added a vintage 49 sedan delivery grill badge. I added a set of chrome smoothies with baby moon caps, wrapped by wide white walls. I fabricated some fake lake pipes and added LOTS of chrome.
On the inside, I added a grey burlwood interior kit and trimmed everything in chrome. I am almost finished ( another week or so ) with the makeover and will post pics soon.
I am happy to be a part of this community, and have used info from your forums get ideas on the current makeover. I look forward to hearing what you think when the pics are posted.
