Just needed to find info on how to access an online owners' manual for my 2007 HHR.

Thanks for the manual info. It was just what I needed to figure out how to open the hatch when the battery is dead. Unfortunately, the key was stuck in the ignition with the dead battery, so this will be the next issue. Thanks, again. Nick

That info is here too. The SEARCH tool will help you.

Basically follow the directions in The manual for jump starting, then the hatch will be energized.
