You can get a short term subscription to Tis2Web for around $50. That is where all of the firmware comes from. Techline Connect is the software needed for a PC. I don't know if that website is available in Europe.
GoOgle "tis2web" and "techline connect" for lots of info.

I like to buy a HHR SS power steering system with the steering angle sensore. I do not need the rack and pinion system and steeringwheel with switshes. If somebody knows somebody who is parting out HHR SS,then I am very glad to get the information. The shipping is for NY 11379.

Best,
Raivo

Hello,

Dumb question. Our local parts shop claims, that the rear wheel hub is same in 2007 HHR LT(drum brakes) and 2008 SS disc brakes?
I want to upgrade the disc brakes in rear insted of drums. Do I need the different wheel hub or not? In Rockauto are different codes, but some are same?

I think the difference is not drum brakes or disc, but because of ABS brakes.

There is some differences between the sensores. Because the snow was melting I did some small test drive today. The traction control was on all most all the time. Even the smallest movement activates the TC. So we hook up the test equipment. The car sees the rear abs sensors but wont get any readings and thinks that the rear wheels are slipping (reading is 0) and activates the TC.
I had the 2007 2.4 HHR LT. I swapped the 2008 SS engine+transmission+wiring+compleate front axle.
Then I took my old HHR front hub and connect it to car system. The result was the same as rear. Car sees the sensor, but won't get any reading when spinning the hub.
So the sensors are different. Or data communication is different.
Can someone tell me the correct part number for 2008 HHR SS rear hubs? (4 wheel ABS) Is the MOOG 512285 correct one?

Thanks in advance,
Raivo

Well. This long project is finally almost finished. The 3" exhaust system is done and sound good Or I think its sounds good. My wife and neighbours have a little bit different opinion In real life it is little bit louder.
The original front bumper wont fit, like you guys mentioned already.I didn't want to use the SS bumper,so I modified the original bumper to fit(not painted yet).
All the systems are working. Even the tire pressure system. Only thing is not working is the radio. It is locked. But I was thinking to replace the radio anyway, because we have different frequencies in Estonia then you have in US. So I have to find something.
I love the new SS engine. All the building problems was forgotten after first few days of driving Currently I have the stock engine setup for automatic(230hp). I want to get some more hp out of that engine. Wich product is better,ZZ Performance or RPM motorsports tune up? Or something else?
Is there any difflocks available for this automatic gearbox?

Nice job covering the inter cooler! Glad you’re happy with the new engine! Enjoy the ride! As for the upgrade, ZZP has what you need to bump up that horsepower!
