The one lead I had on an 08 SS turned out to be a bum deal. The SS looked nice in photos but when I pulled Carfax on it it was in several wrecks so Im going to pass on that one.

Right now there are two. One in Atlanta and one in Tampa. Both 3 owner cars, No Wrecks

Atlanta - 2008 Red SS Pretty much stock 52K miles
Tampa - 2010 Red SS Has the Racing bucket seats 42K miles

Im kind of leaning towards the 2010 but its slightly more expensive. But I am going to talk to my GM guy this afternoon to see what he can find out there for me in case I'm not seeing all the sites/locations. I would prefer to deal locally if possible.

More than likely though I need to start stripping my Soul down and taking it back to close as stock as I can if I decide to trade.

Good luck on the search.

Fwiw. All 2010 SS's had the performance seats for both front seats. They also had the RPD display standard and ebony was the only interior color.

I think I would prefer the 2010 just for any refinements they did and I do like the Sport Bucket seats but I guess it's not a dealbreaker.

I could alway find and add those seats in and get an aftermarket radio that has some cool display/car readout functions.

I want this car to be something fun to drive and mod.

Is there any big advantage over the two years?

From what I've read and seen I see,

The seat differences
The RPD
Bluetooth and USB in the radio

Spent the weekend and got my Kia Soul Mostly back to stock again. Still need to put the factory suspension in it. Hopefully it will warm up enough to get that done this upcoming weekend. I am leaving the trailer hitch and roof rails on it.

So far not much luck with another one popping up but this gives me some time to sell my parts and suspension I have to have a little extra to put as a down payment :)

So unless just a really good deal pops up locally or close by I'm going to look again first of the year :)

Determined!!

I have a 2008 2.0 Turbo SS; midnight blue w/black interior in perfect condition. New brakes a couple of months ago. 82,000 Miles on it. It is a 5 speed. I'm an hour south of Jacksonville, FL. Any interest?
