The interesting thing is this dealer continually has HHR's for sale. But they charge 13K to 15k for them. Mind you all 3 that are currently showing prices are 08's.
I got my 2011 a few months ago with 29k miles for less the 13k$ But I am way up north

contrere

Contrere my friend, in my opinion the HHR is only going to be more popular as time goes by. The HHR will become like the first Mustangs and Camaros in the future, especially the SS and the Panel.

It's good to see I'm wrong. That there are new members after me, even 2-3 years after being discontinued. The HHR is awesome!

I got mine about 1.5 years ago with 60K (2007) and only paid $8500. I started a thread about that dealer back then as they were charging that much for 07's at that time lol.

The best people, the best tech info, and the best truck-lets on the road. What more could you ask for?

It takes years for a mass production model to attain any level of collectibility that would be reflected in pricing. Panels and SS's will definitely command higher prices by the time HHR's begin to be considered a classic in 2031 (25 years).

What cars from 1988 are collectible now? I remember '88 was a model upgrade for lots of GM's stuff, but I can't remember which ones exactly.

The panel is what got me interested in the car (I have a regular one). When I started my current job, I'd walk around our lot when bored, and one day I noticed a fleet of white HHR Panels behind the business across from us. I thought they were beautiful and neat. They were like vans, but small. One thing led to another, and I now have a HHR!
