Cool Intro & question

Have a 2008 LT 2.4 purchased new and love it. Has 77K miles with no major problems except warped rotors, which is really not that major, just annoying. The question I have is, where can you find the "CHEVROLET" block letter applique for the side of the hood just forward of the doors? Have searched everywhere with no luck. While I'm here I'll ask another, old school white wall tires with the small chrome bowtie hubcaps?

You will need to get that one custom made! (insert LOL smiley here).

If you want "CHEVROLET" I would start on Ebay.

to the forum!

Here's a thread on whitewall tires and rims with baby moon hubcaps for the HHR, be prepared to part with some dough.

Or you can go with some old school Portawalls...

For the block lettering check e-Bay and search for Chevrolet lettering.

If your looking for the 49 chevrolet hood emblems for the sides of the hood you can get them from Classicparts.com. You will need to cut the posts off the back and then use 3M double sided tape to put them on the hood. Thats what I did and the hood looks great,

If you can remember, what thickness of tape did you use.? Got a pair from Classic Parts, they are metal & have a little weight to them. Took the HHR to my dealer and all they had was 45mm, said I needed 85-90. They could drill the hood but would have to cut 2 holes in the inside hood liner and attach using the post. Said with the weight, possible they could blow off with tape.
