How long have you had this car? Also did this wind noise just start or has it been there since you got the car?

 

My 2008 has always made a wind noise right into my left ear. When I took in to the dealer, they said "the tech and the service manager went for a test drive and did not hear a thing".

my suggestion would be to get some blue painter's tape and use it to cover different areas to narrow things down, especially were the side mirror bezel contacts the window frame. I never have been able to find the source, I put weather sealing foam all around the door seals with no positive results. One thought just hit me; Do you have VentShades installed? They could be loose/improperly installed, and you can't see them flapping around while you are driving.

 

no vent shades, went to the dealer today to ask for a estimate, did'nt like there attitude. so i went and purchased 1/2" wide X 3/8" tall weather stripping to put between the door and the window gasket. we will see how that works.

 

Dealer with an attitude ? Never heard of such a thing !!

Remember they work for the government now.
