It's Cyber Gray Metallic and 1LT if I'm not mistaken. The specs show LT Preferred Equipment Group, if that means anything. It is a second vehicle for me, mainly to haul stuff I can't fit into my two-seater, but it has a lot more character than the Honda I sold. Besides, the Honda is my late wife's car. Memories, and all.

My personal experience won't let me trust anything a Chevy dealer says about the mechanical condition of a car. Not to mention a model that was discontinued 12 years ago.

What good is a POST Delivery Inspection?
It tells me what might need fixing. Despite Carvana's inspection it is still a used car, but with under 70K miles it might not be TOO used. It's going to be a second vehicle that will see limited use. It will be mostly for hauling things I can't fit into my daily driver. I trust my local Chevy dealer, since they've serviced four Corvettes for me with no problems (and you know how picky we can be ). I know about the reported Carvana problems so I went into this with eyes wide open. If I get burned, it's on me.

Congrats on the new car. Hope everything is as expected when it arrives.

Just curious. Why not a SS ?

For what you need, the LT seems a better choice than more complex SS, the prices of which are getting quite high, and parts availability challenges are rising.

At 77K it's barely broken in. My wish is that it proves to be just what hoped for!

See post below. Complexity, parts cost, plus I'm thinking of a retro look and the SS doesn't support that. Still in the early stages. It isn't even on the ground yet.

Concur, once I thought about it. The SS is cool, and it would have nudged me to a manual transmission. I love driving a stick, but my knees don't like it so much any more. Being an old fart drives certain choices y'know.

You thinking, lowered a bit and a retro look?

This look is just red rattle can paint on the grille and a chrome strip at the belt line

I'll have to think about lowering. My driveway has a fairly steep rise. The wheels are in the ballpark for the look I'm contemplating. I'm also thinking about wrapping the 'fenders' in a contrasting color. I saw one some years ago like that and it is what kept the HHR in mind.
