New HHR owner

Just picked up a used (9,000 mile) Mocha Steel HHR 2LT. Needed something small and good on gas with the room to carry my two dogs. Love it so far and great gas mileage. Just wish it had rear disc brakes, not looking forward to having to adjust the rears all the time.

to the forum Rob, and congrats on your new ride!

I've got a Mocha Steel 2011 2LT that I ordered new, its just starting to break in at 40,000 miles.

Don't sweat the brake adjustments, you can stretch them out to every tire rotation which should be at 5,000 miles, once you do it one time...it becomes a cinch.

Welcome to the site
Granted I only had my lt2 for about 6 months but I would not worry about adjusting the rear brakes up ALL the time
I put new brakes on mine in the rear when I first got it and I put on new adjusters one was frozen never had to adjust after that.Mine where automatically adjusting so you may be ok.
Especially with only 9000 Miles (wow get out and drive and enjoy that HHR)
