And now for a little update; we almost lost the HHR SS today. My wife was driving and I was with her. We approached an intersection in which the side road is at about a 45 degree angle to the road we were on. Some dumba$$ in a gigantic Ford Excursion approached the stop sign at that intersection. He barely slowed down at all and came right out into our road without even looking. I saw it and yelled at my wife to watch out. She had to slam on the brakes (glad the SS has 4-wheel discs) and had to swerve hard left to miss him. That dumb son of a 6itch never even realized we were there. He just tooled on down the road as if nothing had happened. I mean we came within just a few inches of losing our new little pride and joy. I was so damn mad and my heart was pounding. What is wrong with people these days?
And we have only owned this vehicle for 3 days!!
Sorry for my rant but I had to vent on this. I've been mad all day about this.

Hi Tim. Thanks for the intro. You are right about the great people on this site. I have enjoyed the brief time I have been here so far. They are very helpful and informative. You know, one thing that surprises me is the number of folks around here who have looked at our HHR and said they never knew they made an SS in them.

Hear that all the time, the reason I think is because in six years of production of the HHR
only about 3400 were made, so that makes them kind of rare. But still not as rare as the 09 panel SS which they made just a little more than 300.
talk to you later.
Tim

I had no idea there was an HHR SS! Trying to find a nice ride for my wife and 2 kids we looked at the HHR but they were blah compared to the SS. And a 2.0L to boot. Win win!
