New to the site!
I am a new member to this HHR Forum. We have a 2008 HHR 2.4L with 5-speed transmission. We love the vehicle--we wish that Chevrolet still made this model. I am especially interested in towing a light weight popup trailer designed to be pulled by a motorcycle for long economical vacationing across the nation. Can anyone direct me to sites that might discuss this?

Welcome to the site 
Use the search box at the top of the page and you will find lots of threads on towing.
I'm sure you will here that a manual trans is not meat to tow a trailer but lots of us have done it with out problems. Just be smart and don't over do it.

aboard!GM's official position was "5-Speed = No Towing", but that hasn't stopped members here, you just need to understand that Chevy really put some very stern conditions on HHR's when it came to trailers.
