ok cool take it it anyway for a code read..and thanks for the tip,ill definitely check the fuses when i get home..my wife mentioned to me that she noticed that the TC light and check engine light comes on when its hot or warmer outside..and not much in colder weather..don't know how much truth there is to that..

Welcome Kane! Advanced Auto may be a good bet too. Most AutoZones will not let you clear the codes with their devices at it is a liability.. Advanced Auto will walk you through the operation of the device, and allow YOU to clear the codes. That way the liability is on you, not them.
